Hello and welcome to my blog!
Hailing from Toronto, Canada I’ve been in the UK now for four years, working, travelling and enjoying all that Europe has to offer. I’ve been an avid cook and love to host a good party, the running joke being that I’ll read cook books before bedtime just for fun!
So when the pandemic hit and I wasn't able to travel back home to visit my family, I started having cooking sessions online with my dad. The premise being that I’d find simple, yet delicious recipes and we both buy the ingredients and schedule a date & time to cook together. Sounds easy enough, however my dad hasn’t had much experience around the kitchen so everything was new to him. This got me thinking, what if there are more people out there like him, who don’t necessarily know how to cook, what equipment they need or even what to look for at the shops.
That being said, its my goal to make this blog as user friendly as possible with photo and written instruction on what equipment and ingredients you need to keep things fun and easy. This is for anyone who finds themselves single for the first time, or doesn't have much experience cooking.
